Dropbox folders¶
Folder structure¶
The folder structure will be as follows:
[customer root folder] -- we have created this for you
\__ [campaign folder] -- typically you will have only 1 of these
\__ [_upload] -- see below
\__ [archive] -- see below
\__ [failed] -- see below
\__ [input-type-1]
\__ [input-type-2] -- an input folder will convert project folders to a specific DCP format
\__ [project folder 1] -- each project (DCP) should be in its own project folder.
\__ [project folder 2]
\__ [project folder 3]
_upload: you can upload bigger project folders here, wait until they're completely uploaded, and then you can easily move them to the right input folder. This is to avoid that Spottix starts processing your project folder before all files have been uplaoded.archive: this is where Spottix will move your project folder after it has been processed. You can check the log files in the project folder to see what operations were done on the input.failed: this is where Spottix will move your project folder if it failed to process it. You can check the log files in the project folder to see what went wrong.input-*: these are the input folders where you should move your project folders to start processing them. There will be one folder per language and rating that you use.project folder: each project (DCP) should be in its own project folder. That subfolder will contain the media files that should be used to create the DCP. Multiple input formats are supported.
DCP naming¶
The name of your project folder will define the prefix of the DCP that will be created, to be exact the first 14 characters of the DCP name. The rest of the DCP name will follow the DCP naming convention.
Some examples:
